We went to Simmons Automotive for an oil change for my car (2017 Infiniti Q50S) for the first time. They were highly recommended by an acquaintance of my husband’s . Since our longtime mechanic of over 45 years retired a couple years ago it’s been hard to find a reliable automotive repair shop outside of going to the dealership for general services. Simmons was prompt on getting my car in for service at the scheduled time and had it completed within an hour. They took pictures of my car and sent an email reiterating what service I had requested and the cost of completion. They were friendly, courteous and professional. I will differently use Simmons for any automotive needs in the future.

I brought in a used car (from a small dealership just a few blocks away) for a pre-sale inspection. They inspection was very thorough, revealing many minor issues and a few major issues. I of course did not purchase the car. I was so grateful for their deep dive on the engine. They were fully transparent in their findings without leaning on me either way about my decision to purchase. In the end I expressed that in no way did I want to purchase a car with that many issues, and they agreed in full. If I lived in Tacoma I would be a regular customer.

After 30 years, our mechanic retired. We needed to find a honest, reliable and skilled shop to help maintain or vehicles. We found them! I was greeted by name upon entering the lobby and I quickly noticed that this was a family business. Dean, the owner, even took the time to introduce himself and thank me for my business. Austin kept me up to date on my vehicle and the invoice was reasonable. Even though I had brought our vehicles in for an oil change, they took the time to check for anything that needed attention, they took pictures and made recommendations for items that would need to be addressed. We are so pleased and impressed that I took business cards to give to family and friends.

The service is friendly and the technician did an excellent job. The truck is running great and the ticking sound is gone. TYVM Simmons Automotive!
